When she won the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Main Event, she became the youngest person ever to win a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.

In winning the WSOP Europe Championship and banking $2,100,000 for her efforts she also set a new record in the poker world. Annette Obrestad became the female poker player with the biggest payout in a single event. Annie Duke was the previous record holder with a $2,000,000 win at the 2004 Tournament of Champions.
